Here is my Baby - well big girl - :-) working on cooking her first pot of pasta. Okay, that is not really what I wanted to share. But while I was looking for a picture of Alyssa to post with the coming little story i came across this one.
Anyway what I wanna share happened at bed time. Ever since she was born I'm singing her 3 songs before she goes to bed. I used to sing the same songs ("Guten Abend, Guten Nacht", "Schlaf Kindlein", "La, Le, Lu") every night until a few weeks ago. Because now Alyssa wants me only to sing "Hush, Little Baby". The words to this long song I just learned about 18 months ago during the training to become a licensed Kindermusik Educator. But now to the point I'm trying to make. Tonight singing the song for the third time Alyssa started singing with me. And to my surprise she didn't just know all the words but also sang in the right key most of the time. To round it off. She also sang "La, Le, Lu" with me as well. She sang this one with me before several times. I wished I had the video camera or at least a cd-/tape-recorder there. :-(

More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. In this special camp, unvover more ways to say "I love you" using soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, you can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process. Home Materials include: Book, CD, Duch Wash Mitt, Baby Duck Gertie Ball, and Poster.
Ages 1 1/2 to 3 years

Sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! Went the waves and then there were four."
Home Materials include: CD, Seashell Castanet, Stroycard set and Picture Folder set.
Registration for this classes will start on Saturday April 12th, 2008 at our Open House in Mitte. The cost for one camp is 85,- Euro. Register for both camps for one age-group before May 10th, 2008 and receive 50% off the tuition for the second camp.

Late enrollments are always welcome, depending on class availability. Fall classes start September/October, Spring classes start January/February, but if you enroll after the semester begins, your tuition is pro-rated, and your materials are paid in full. Full payment when enrolling late is appreciated, however, if you need a payment plan, please ask me. I'm happy to work with you! If I have materials on hand, you will receive them with payment. If we need to order them for you, we will try to have them by the next class. Since our materials are shipped from North Carolina USA, we cannot guarantee that they will arrive in that week, but I will do all that I can to ensure you get your materials promptly.
If you aren't completely happy with your Kindermusik experience after attending at least five consecutive classes, we'll refund or credit all of your tuition except for the cost of Home Materials, which are yours to keep an enjoy. Pro-rated tuition refunds may also be given in case of withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances at discretion of the Director.
