Here also a little note to our Village Families. The classes - as already mentioned - will be held from now on instead of Mondays on Wednesdays starting January 7th, 2009. The classes will be held at the community center of the Ev. Church of Hermsorf (Wachsmuthstr. 24/28, 13467 Berlin). The class room is across the church office on the first floor.

Noch eine kleine Information für unsere Village Familien. Der Kurs wird - wie bereits erwähnt - ab sofort anstatt montags sondern mittwochs (7. Januar 2009) stattfinden. Der Kursort is dann in der Wachsmuthstr. 25/28, 13467 Berlin. Im Gemeindehaus der Ev. Kirchengemeinde Hermsdorf (gegenüber der Küsterei im 1. Stock).

No Family Time Class on Monday November 17th, 2008

Just a quick reminder to our Family Time families. Do to my husbands birthday there will be no class on November 17th, 2008. The Village class will be held by Anna as usual.

The entrance fee is 10,- Euro per adult. Children newborn to 10 years get in for free. To save 3,- Euro on your ticket register your visit here. (side is only in German/contact me if you need help) 

 

At the fair we will offer free Demos on Friday (10.30 a.m. - 20 min) and Sunday (2.30 p.m.) at the seminar room. To participate in this Demos you have to register through the website of the organizer. 

On Saturday at 3.30 p.m. you can join us for an exiting Kindermusik time on stage.

We're new on facebook

Due to the new link on the upper right hand side of our blog you may have noticed that we now have a facebook page. In the future we will also use this page to post upcoming events. If you are interested in receiving notifications about newly posted events please make sure you become our friend on facebook. You can do that by clicking on the facebook logo above or by following the link on the right hand side of this blog.

The facebook page will even give us the opportunity to asked for your feed-back and preferences. Right now we're trying to find out when your perfect Kindermusik class would be (time/day/location).  In the long run we hope for the page to become a community platform for our Kindermusik families.

Speaking of Anna. Anna Johnston (photo on the right) is the new edition to our Studio and will be there for you during our monday morning classes. She has been teaching since 1998 and has been licensed as Kindermusik Educator this year. Anna has several music degrees. She is British and has taught piano, flute and English to children in six different countries.

KIndermusik Germany Convention in Hamburg

Hello, I'm back from Hamburg. Everybody had a great time in Hamburg. But unfortunately we forgot to take a group picture.

Sorry, everyone for not posting earlier. The Kindermusik Germany Convention is this coming Saturday. I was asked to do a little presentation on blogging. The preparation for this as well as my families needs were keeping me pretty busy the past few days. 

Hers is a picture of Alyssa and my nephew Marek on my dads birthday party last week.

I tell you more about the convention and what I learned to give you and your child the best Kindermusik experience. By the way, the next Open House is on July 5, 2008 in Hermsdorf. Please invite all your friends to come for a free fun Kindermusik demo class. I'll post more about the Open House details probably on Sunday.

More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. In this special camp, unvover more ways to say "I love you" using  soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, you can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process. Home Materials include: Book, CD, Duch Wash Mitt, Baby Duck Gertie Ball, and Poster.

Ages 1 1/2 to 3 years

4.00 pm to 4.45 pm

Sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! Went the waves and then there were four." 

Home Materials include: CD, Seashell Castanet, Stroycard set and Picture Folder set.

Registration for this classes will start on Saturday April 12th, 2008 at our Open House in Mitte. The cost for one camp is 85,- Euro. Register for both camps for one age-group before May 10th, 2008 and receive 50% off the tuition for the second camp.

This is just a quick reminder that there are no Kindermusik classes during the School Easter Break (March 17th to 30th).

Family Time in Charlottenburg

Due to requests of classes for a wide variety of ages we're offering a Family Time Class in Charlottenburg on Saturdays 9.30 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. 

The Semester starts on February 2, 2008. But remember you can join anytime during the semester as long as there is space available. In that case the tuition will be pro-rated.

If you aren't completely happy with you Kindermusik experience after attending at least five consecutive classes, we'll refund or credit all of your tuition except for the cost of Home Materials, which are yours to keep and enjoy.
