Demos in Charlottenburg - October 23, 2008

After losing our room in Charlottenburg after the past spring  we have a possible room option near the subway/underground stop Wilmerdorferstr. and S-Bahn stop Charlottenburg. 
10.00 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.
for children newborn to 18 month with a caregiver
3.30 p.m. to 4.15 p.m.
fro children 1 1/2 to 3 years with caregiver

New Classes starting soon! Including the Summer Schedule 2008

Come and test us. Enjoy a shorter Kindermusik Adventures session (5 weeks comp
ared to a regular 15/16 weeks Semester). We offer a the following camps.
Mai 17th through June 14th, 2008 (Saturdays in the afternoon)
Ages Newborn to 18 Months
 3.00 pm to 3.45 pm
Set your baby's day to classical music. With a little more Tchaikovsky in your "Twinkle, Twinkle" repertoire you'll discover new ways your baby benefits from the classics as you both develop an appreciation for the world's most respected music. Each lesson features new activites and songs you can sing for all the places you go together - the store, the playground, the doctor, and more. Home Materials include: Book, CD, Village Cage Bell, and Poster.
 Ages 1 1/2 to 3 years
4.00 pm to 4.45 pm
Give your child something to sing about in her own backyard. Be the flower from the "seed's" perspective. Run and jump in rain puddles made from hula hoops. Shoo real flies and sing "Shoo Fly." Home Materials include: CD, Bunny Pupet, and Picture Fo
lders set.
July 26th through August 30th, 2008 (Saturdays in the afternoon)
Ages Newborn to 18 Months
3.00 pm to 3.45 pm
More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. In this special camp, unvover more ways to say "I love you" using  soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, you can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process. Home Materials include: Book, CD, Duch Wash Mitt, Baby Duck Gertie Ball, and Poster.
Ages 1 1/2 to 3 years
4.00 pm to 4.45 pm
Sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! Went the waves and then there were four." 
Home Materials include: CD, Seashell Castanet, Stroycard set and Picture Folder set.
Registration for this classes will start on Saturday April 12th, 2008 at our Open House in Mitte. The cost for one camp is 85,- Euro. Register for both camps for one age-group before May 10th, 2008 and receive 50% off the tuition for the second camp.
Register at an Open House (April 12th in Mitte und April 26th in Hermsdorf) and take a FREE KINDERMUSIK CD home with you.

Family Time in Charlottenburg

Due to requests of classes for a wide variety of ages we're offering a Family Time Class in Charlottenburg on Saturdays 9.30 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. 
The Semester starts on February 2, 2008. But remember you can join anytime during the semester as long as there is space available. In that case the tuition will be pro-rated.

Spring Semester 2008

Newborn to 18 months
16 classes per Semester
Cock-a-doodle-MOO! - Hop on the hayride - it's time to head for the farm! In the Cock-a-doodle-Moo! unit you will sing songs about the farm, including "Old MacDonald," "Hayride," and "Clever Cows." You'll engage in rituals and playful activities for baby and caregiver, including infant massage, lap bounces, exercise, and quiet time. During the week, your family will enjoy the At Home Materials, looking through a playful picture-book of animals and sounds they make, as well as a CD of songs heard in class and an instrument for music-making at home.
Dew Drops - Stop and smell the roses - and lily of the valley, and tulips, and pansies ... in the Dew Drops unit you will play and move together to songs about flowers, such as "Jasmine Flower," "How Does Your Garden Grow?," and "White Coral Bells." You'll also hear traditional Irish music: you'll dance a jig, move to the "Irish Trot," and exercise to "Did You Ever See a Lassie." In your At Home Materials, you will receive a CD of beautifully arranged songs from class, a board book of flowers, and an instrument for music-making at home.
1 1/2 years to 3 years
15 classes per Semester
Away We Go! - Hop on the train, get in the car, board the plane, and Away We Go! This delightful unit focuses on transportation, a favorite topic for toddlers who are on the go, go, go! Sing and play along with favorite songs, such as "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" and "Wheels on the Bus." Explore fast and slow, smooth and bumpy, and high and low. Read stories about ways to get around. Shiny Dinah tells the story of a train, and Giddy-Up! has a horse, speedboat, race-car, and more to help you get where you want to go. Move, play, and sing together in developmentally appropriate activities created just for 1 1/2 to 3-year-olds. You'll receive 2 CDs, a Home Activity Book, 2 storybooks (Shiny Dinah and Giddy-Up!), 2 harmonicas, and a train carrying box.
Multiple children ages Newborn to 7 years
15 classes per Semester
Our Kind of Day - Build family bonds, creativity and physical and mental development in a delightful one-room schoolhouse. Each week children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing - every Family Time activity encourages discovery and exploration and fosters sharing and social skills too. In your At Home Materials, you'll receive 2 CDs, a Family Activity Book, a hand- and a finger-puppet 2 literature books as well as 2 double egg-shakers for fun music-making at home with even the youngest family members.
