Family Time in Charlottenburg

Due to requests of classes for a wide variety of ages we're offering a Family Time Class in Charlottenburg on Saturdays 9.30 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. 
The Semester starts on February 2, 2008. But remember you can join anytime during the semester as long as there is space available. In that case the tuition will be pro-rated.

Our new policy!
If you aren't completely happy with you Kindermusik experience after attending at least five consecutive classes, we'll refund or credit all of your tuition except for the cost of Home Materials, which are yours to keep and enjoy. Pro-rated tuition refunds may also be given in case of withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances, at the discretion of the Director.

Spring Semester 2008

Newborn to 18 months
16 classes per Semester
Cock-a-doodle-MOO! - Hop on the hayride - it's time to head for the farm! In the Cock-a-doodle-Moo! unit you will sing songs about the farm, including "Old MacDonald," "Hayride," and "Clever Cows." You'll engage in rituals and playful activities for baby and caregiver, including infant massage, lap bounces, exercise, and quiet time. During the week, your family will enjoy the At Home Materials, looking through a playful picture-book of animals and sounds they make, as well as a CD of songs heard in class and an instrument for music-making at home.
Dew Drops - Stop and smell the roses - and lily of the valley, and tulips, and pansies ... in the Dew Drops unit you will play and move together to songs about flowers, such as "Jasmine Flower," "How Does Your Garden Grow?," and "White Coral Bells." You'll also hear traditional Irish music: you'll dance a jig, move to the "Irish Trot," and exercise to "Did You Ever See a Lassie." In your At Home Materials, you will receive a CD of beautifully arranged songs from class, a board book of flowers, and an instrument for music-making at home.
1 1/2 years to 3 years
15 classes per Semester
Away We Go! - Hop on the train, get in the car, board the plane, and Away We Go! This delightful unit focuses on transportation, a favorite topic for toddlers who are on the go, go, go! Sing and play along with favorite songs, such as "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" and "Wheels on the Bus." Explore fast and slow, smooth and bumpy, and high and low. Read stories about ways to get around. Shiny Dinah tells the story of a train, and Giddy-Up! has a horse, speedboat, race-car, and more to help you get where you want to go. Move, play, and sing together in developmentally appropriate activities created just for 1 1/2 to 3-year-olds. You'll receive 2 CDs, a Home Activity Book, 2 storybooks (Shiny Dinah and Giddy-Up!), 2 harmonicas, and a train carrying box.
Multiple children ages Newborn to 7 years
15 classes per Semester
Our Kind of Day - Build family bonds, creativity and physical and mental development in a delightful one-room schoolhouse. Each week children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing - every Family Time activity encourages discovery and exploration and fosters sharing and social skills too. In your At Home Materials, you'll receive 2 CDs, a Family Activity Book, a hand- and a finger-puppet 2 literature books as well as 2 double egg-shakers for fun music-making at home with even the youngest family members.
